On the anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, Ivana Spagna plays “Have You Ever Seen the Rain“, ahistorical song by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The song will be the A-side of a 45-turn vinyl available in pre-order starting May 15 on the B-side of which will feature a version of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” performed live in concert from Spain.

For the arrangement and realization of the song, which took place in full lockdown, Ivana was virtually joined by her brother Theo:“ I was so impressed with all this – confessed the singer to Tgcom24 – that I thought to propose it to people again and I wanted to realize the project immediately even if it was in full lockdown and, not being able to leave the house to go to the recording studio, I was forced to become a bit technological. I was practically remote-controlled at a distance from my brother Theo: from his studio, with his computer he guided me step by step. The arrangement was made by him except for the part of the strings (middle part of the piece) that I arranged and played. I sang at home, using a computer and microphone placed in my wardrobe, and my brother then caught my voice, strings, and choirs and did everything else.”
