Android 14 launches this Wednesday and debuts on Pixel devices
Google launched this Wednesday, in addition to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones, Android 14. The newest version of its operating system will be released first for Pixel devices — as is tradition, Google releases the latest Android for its products. Other manufacturers will announce their Android 14-based interfaces over the coming days and weeks.
The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, also presented on Wednesday, will be the first products to leave the factory with Android 14. They are now available for pre-order on Google’s website.

Partner manufacturers will launch their interfaces in the coming weeks
At the event, Google said that partner manufacturers (e.g., Samsung, Motorola, and Xiaomi) will launch their interfaces in the coming days or weeks. The company has never confirmed or made statements about this, but the development of Android 14 has suffered at least two delays.
The first to launch its interface based on the new Android should be OnePlus. The reason for this guess is that the manufacturer had already communicated the release of OxygenOS 14 for September 25th. The announcement came ahead of the Android 14 delay.
Therefore, OnePlus should be ready to present its interface.
Samsung, a manufacturer with a large presence in the world smartphone market, has not yet presented its plans.
