What’s new from Apple?
As a conference aimed at developers, WWDC focuses on software news, the systems that come with the company’s devices. So:
iOS 17: The system is expected to bring new features to the iPhone focused on accessibility and health. But not only that, one expects a rest mode in which the smartphone turns into something like an Echo Show, when you are home, and an alternative store to download apps from outside the App Store.
iPadOS 17: The iPad should have an improvement in Stage Manager, a feature that allows you to use floating windows on the iPad. The tablet can also receive the same lock screen customization that exists on the iPhone.
watchOS 10: Apple watches that are compatible with the update should receive widget support, in addition to the current complications, to bring more customization options and usefulness to the accessory.
There have been no rumors about the news for tvOS and macOS, however, another product that may appear at WWDC 2023 is Apple’s mixed reality headset.
Reality Pro: this should be the name of the new accessory, which combines augmented reality and virtual reality. The device can have two 4K screens and M2 chip.
If realized at this year’s conference, the presentations of iOS, iPadOS, macOS and other software will be marked by the integrated experience with Apple’s headset.
