Apple expected to release new MacBook and iPad Pro with larger screens
The Apple M2 is Apple’s new processor. But in addition to the notebooks presented during WWDC 2022, the company is expected to update the most full-bodied models of the MacBook Pro line based on the new generation of the chip. The other novelties can revolve around a laptop and an iPad Pro with screens up to 15 inches.
The reports come from a report published by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. On Wednesday (9), the journalist reported that Apple intends to market a 15-inch MacBook Air in the near future. This would be the largest model of the line, as the computer has only been released in two sizes to date: 11 and 13 inches.
The stakes don’t stop there. Do you remember the 12-inch MacBook, released in 2015 and retired in 2019? Yes, Apple may debut another notebook of the same size by 2024. However, I wonder if this model would make sense after Apple announced the multitasking features of iPadOS 16.
Another beneficiary would be the iPad Pro. According to analyst Ross Young on his Twitter profile, the company is working on a 14.1-inch iPad Pro with Mini LED screen and 120 Hz (Pro Motion) refresh rate. The information is from supply suppliers to the iPhone manufacturer.
Today, the iPad Pro has options with 11-inch and 12.9-inch displays.
The betting list also revolves around the future more full-bodied MacBook Pro. At Bloomberg, Mark Gurman said Apple is already working on the new generation of notebooks announced last year. And, as expected, Macs will have more power than before – and today’s are already “monstrous.”
Part of this increment will be destined to the processor structure. According to the specialized website, the amount of CPU cores will increase from ten to twelve. In addition, the chip will have thirty-eight GPU cores. Currently, the component has thirty-two cores for graphics.
Other computers are being tested by the company. This is the case for the new generations of Mac Pro and Mac Mini. The brand still thinks about the future Apple M3.
