Bing with ChatGPT should arrive on Android and iOS in the coming weeks
Microsoft surprised you by revealing an update to Bing with ChatGPT elements in recent days. Now, it’s time to take the news to Android and iPhone (iOS) phones: according to Windows Latest on Monday (13), the search engine’s mobile experiences tend to receive the new artificial intelligence (AI) features soon.
The information comes from people aware of the subject in contact with the specialized website. The portal reported that Microsoft intends to release bing’s mobile interface with the chatbot “in the coming weeks.”
This release would take the features announced by Microsoft on the last day 7. In this way, users could use the power of chatbot when searching for the mobile phone.
Currently, in the trial phase, the new version of the search engine with chatgpt engine is limited to two computer browsers: Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
Microsoft, however, has not yet confirmed this release. In an invitation sent to users eligible to access the tool in advance, the company is clear that it does not yet offer a mobile version.
“We don’t have a mobile experience ready yet – we’re actively working on it and we’ll have it ready soon,” says the email sent to those who can already try the new version of Bing. “Until then, keep using the new Bing on desktop and download the Bing app from your favorite app store to make sure you’re ready for the best experience when your phone’s ready.”
Microsoft demonstrates Bing with ChatGPT
The release is related to the release of the new version of Bing, which will use an updated version of the AI model made by OpenAI: Prometheus. With this change, the search engine will have access to information that is newer than ChatGPT or an improved search engine.
After all, in addition to allowing traditional search on websites, users can still search for information in an interface that resembles a chat. Thus, it is possible to ask questions and receive answers in natural language.
The novelty is also being taken to Microsoft Edge, which will have the options Chat, to trigger the chatbot, and Compose, to write texts with the aid of the artificial intelligence system.
Postings, however, are not yet available to all users. But you can join the queue to try the new Bing through the search engine’s homepage.
