Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 are official with oximeter and long battery life
Huami presented its new smart watches on Thursday (1). Known as Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4, the duo draws attention to batteries that promise more than a week of use. Smartwatches still have an oximeter and other sensors to monitor the user’s fitness.
Let’s start with Amazfit GTR 4. The launch includes a circular body with 1.43 inch screen and a swivel crown to aid in interface navigation. The model also has water resistance (5 ATM), two colors (silver and black) and has three options of bracelets: gray (nylon), brown (leather) and black (fluoroelastomer).
The wearable is capable of detecting more than 150 different physical activities. In addition, users rely on GPS to track the route when hiking outdoors, for example. The other functions are found by sensors to determine blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), heartbeat, sleep, stress levels and more.
Its highlight is the 475 mAh battery. The component promises to spend up to 14 days away from the outlet with a moderate use or up to 7 days with more intense use. If you choose balanced GPS mode, the user achieves an autonomy of up to 44 hours, according to the manufacturer.
The Amazfit GTS 4 has a closer aesthetic to the Apple Watch thanks to the rectangular body. Its screen is 1.75 inch and is accompanied by a rotating crown on the right side. The model also has water resistance (5 ATM) and has several color options: white, brown, black and pink.
The launch still follows gtr 4 in relation to sensors and physical activities. Another common point is the presence of the ZeppOS 2.0 operating system, with the right to functions to answer pulse calls (Bluetooth). Users can still save music to the watch storage.
The battery, however, is smaller: 300 mAh. According to Amazfit, the average duration of the component is 8 days and can reach 4 days with more intense use. When using balanced GPS mode, the autonomy drops to up to 28 hours.
